The JohnHart Difference
Angie Shin started her career as a probate and trust/estate attorney handling both administration and litigation matters. Thereafter, she transitioned to primarily practicing real estate litigation with an emphasis on probate and trust issues, title irregularities, conveyance issues, quiet title, curative actions, mortgage fraud, lien priorities, and foreclosure matters.
Most recently before joining JohnHart Real Estate, JohnHart Probate’s parent firm, Angie was an underwriting counsel for Fidelity National Financial’s (NYSE: FNF) family of title and escrow companies, providing underwriting guidance, support, and counsel regarding real estate closings and title insurance matters. In her underwriting career, Angie regularly encountered thorny and complex issues involving probate and trust sales. Nonetheless, she excelled at quickly analyzing complex legal and risk coverage issues, providing creative solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
When Angie joined JohnHart Real Estate as its General Counsel, she saw an opportunity that would bring together a multitude of services that the company and its related entities offered, including escrow, finance, cash offerings, and asset management. In creating JohnHart Probate, Angie puts the emphasis on the unique needs of probate attorneys as they pertain to real estate sales. Law firms demand efficiency, experience, quick and easy communication, and a diversity of real estate services tailored to the size and complexity of the administration, and JohnHart Probate is uniquely designed to pivot to these needs as they arise. Angie remains in regular contact with her clients, providing consistently excellent customer service. This is the JohnHart difference.
